Excellent career opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Assistant to join the team of a law firm in London. Salary £28-30k. Full training will be provided but you will need to have a University degree and 12-18 months’ office admin experience and a keen interest in Compliance as a long term career. Working in a team comprising the Compliance Partner, Compliance Manager plus two others, the role is varied and offers plenty of scope to gain broad exposure to all aspects of compliance in a law firm, including –

– Client due diligence checks
– Inductions for new joiners to the firm
– Setting up Registers
– Responding to queries regarding security breaches, regulatory enquiries and investigations
– Liaising with Partners and other staff regarding client matters
– Client care letters, File audits, reports and assessments
– Risks and Compliance Projects
– Responding to complaints
– Data Access Requests
– Adhering to and updating policies and procedures
– Keeping up to date with risk and compliance developments
