Description : Exciting opportunity for an experienced Spanish or Portuguese speaking Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join a law firm based in the City. Salary £40k. Working in a team supporting Lawyers and Partners, you will be involved in Commercial Litigation including White Collar Crime and assisting the Corporate team as well. The role is interesting and varied and includes (but is not limited to) – Preparation and distribution of trial documentation and e-bundles including witness statements Responsibility for electronic and paper filing as well as databases Legal research utilising Westlaw, Lexis Library and Practical Law Proof-reading, assist with revising drafts of pleadings File court pleadings and assist with all pre and post trial support Take notes during trial and update documentation accordingly You will require a Law degree or GDL or similar plus 1-3 years’ experience in Commercial Litigation including White Collar Crime. You will also require Spanish or Portuguese language skills and advanced IT skills including Word, Excel and online legal research tools.
