Description : Our client, a medium-sized law firm in the City, is looking for a Residential Property Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant to join their highly regarded, successful and growing Property team. Salary c.£27k plus potential training contract after 2 years. If you are an ambitious Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant, this could be the ideal opportunity for you. The role involves supporting a Senior Licensed Conveyancer and a Solicitor in the Residential Property team with residential conveyancing from taking instructions to post completion, including: Opening files Liaising with clients AML checks Exchange, completion and post completion tasks SDLT and AP1 forms Preparing invoices and financial statements Updating internal system Administrative support throughout the process You will require some residential conveyancing experience in a legal environment ideally a minimum of 6 months and be happy to support the team in an administrative role for the next few years. You will not be running your own files but will be expected to use your own initiative and provide administrative support. Good academics are essential including a Law degree or Legal Executive qualifications, together with a positive, flexible approach and excellent communication skills.
